One-of-a-Kind!

Inspire is a one-of-a-kind annual fundraising event focused on sharing space with
friends and community, while celebrating amazing humans who INSPIRE a
community foundation of intersectional-feminism, inclusion, and diversity.

This exciting event takes place on the last Saturday of May each year on the
gorgeous grounds of Fox & Hound Canine Retreat located in beautiful Bright's
Grove.

Inspire features incredible guest speakers, delicious food, a diverse vendor's market
showcasing local small businesses, and seeks to honour women and gender-diverse
people who are making a big impact in our community.

On Saturday May 27, 2023, Inspire 2023 will feature local vendors, catered lunch,
influential speakers, gifts, prizes, awards, music, self-care and much more!

In honour and recognition of International Women’s Day 2023 nominations are open to recommend individuals who #EmbraceEquity! IWD is a day to celebrate the success and achievements of all women, including the work done throughout history to move us toward a more equal society. It is also a day to reflect on how far we still need to go to achieve gender equality. To do so, we must remember that the quest for equality is not, nor has it ever been solely a women's issue. True gender equality won't exist until there is equality for all genders, and discussions must include and support non-binary, gender-diverse folks and two-spirit individuals.

This year's IWD theme is #EmbraceEquity. With this same theme in mind, take some time and think about an individual who embraces equity, not just on IWD but in their day-to-day considerations of their role in embracing and creating a more equitable society.

Nominations

The Sexual Assault Survivors’ Centre Sarnia-Lambton will be recognizing International Women's Day with awards and recognition at our annual INSPIRE event Saturday May 27th, 2023. To make a nomination, complete and submit a nomination form.
